Online Sessions

  • Our reading-and-discussion seminar series are on what science is, how it works, and why its knowledge deserves our trust. In 2025–2026 the club held four sessions, each built on a classic text — from Hempel's Philosophy of Natural Science to Latour and Woolgar's Laboratory Life — and each combining guided reading, student presentations, a written assignment, and individual feedback. Our guiding conviction is simple: the best way into philosophy of science is to ask big questions about real scientific episodes — with a classic text in one hand and the history of science in the other.
